One major type of tools for every kitchen are Kitchen or Chef Knifes. For every different cutting, slicing or carving task is a matching knife available. Some of these tools are specialized for one task. Others can be used in different situations. Common types of kitchen knifes are: Chef Knife, Utility Knife, Paring Knife, Bread Knife, Carving knife, Fillet Knife and Cleaver. It also makes sense to add a pair of Kitchen Shears to the selection. Knifes are available with stamped or forged blades. The forged blades are usually the ones of higher quality. Most knife handles are made of Micarta (synthetic material) but you can find also handles made of wood, metal and molded Plastic. The choice of handle material is a personal preference but keep in mind that knifes with Micarta handles are easier to care for. The variety of available Kitchen Knifes or Chef Knife Sets can be overwhelming – but the right knife for the task makes preparing and serving food much easier and more enjoyable; additionally it gives your kitchen a more professional feel. A good quality knife will last a lifetime.
Thirdly, sometimes during cooking, utensils get burnt badly and it becomes difficult to clean them. Discarding these is definitely not the solution; rather, these utensils can be filled with water and boiled properly. As the water cools down, the utensil can be cleaned easily using the daily detergent. The fourth most important aspect of kitchen hygiene is cleanliness in the drains. The use of regular chemicals can be beneficial in this. Also bleaching powder can be used to clean the sinks every two weeks.
Considering these implications, let us ponder upon some easy and cheap ways to maintain the kitchen hygiene. Today the most frequently used kitchen asset is oven, or rather microwave oven. This has made our lives easy in many ways. But everything comes as a package of boon and curse at the same time.

The seventh and the final effective step to avoid harmful microbes is to wash the hands properly after every kitchen job or before and after taking the meals. Our hands are the easiest hub for these minute living organisms which does not seem to be as big a trouble as they can bring. These regular preventive steps can be truly helpful in keeping away from any health problems posed by these microscopic creatures.
