Traditional kitchens put less emphasis on technology. This is because at the time much of the technology we use today hadn’t been invented. Kitchen role play enhances a child’s cognitive ability and problem-solving skills. The waste should be disposed off twice a day and the bins should be cleaned using medically prescribed chemicals like phenyl, dettol etc. As for the grease that builds up at the corners or the exhausts, one can use one-fourth cup of ammonia mixed in two cups of water and keeping the affected area wet for fifteen minutes. Also, using a pint of ice on the greasy part is effective too. This will help in keeping up hygiene in the sanitation department of kitchen.
